| GFA to mend strained relations in Starlets camp |

The Ghana Football Association will meet with the technical team of the Black Starlets and the team’s management committee today in a last gasp bid to resolve the impasse between the two parties.
Coach of the national under-17 team, David Duncan, has declared he is not prepared to work with the management committee anymore.
Duncan told Joy Sports, the committee has demonstrated beyond reasonable doubt that they cannot cater to the welfare of the team.
According to Duncan, the Starlets need a more committed team to manage their affairs ahead of the more important assignments at the Under-17 World Cup in Peru.
He said, “If they could not handle the mere African tournament in Gambia, how can they take care of the bigger event in Peru.”
But the GFA has no plans of disbanding the management committee. The FA insists the sparring parties could resolve their differences amicably and execute the task ahead.
The Starlets will reassemble at their Winneba college camp to begin preparations for the competition.
About twenty-eight players will be preparing for what Duncan has tagged “the Peruvian crusade”.
