GT steps up competition 10/13/2005
Ghana Telecom has revised the charges on its fixed line network to reflect the competitive nature of the Telecoms industry.

According to the new rates which were approved by the GT management yesterday, customers will now be able to make free calls between the fixed line network from 12 midnight and 6 am.

The Head of Corporate Affairs at Ghana Telecom, Afua Yeboah, told Joy Business Report that the new rates which also include some upward price adjustments were made to allow the company expand its services to cover the rural areas to satisfy obligations contained in its service agreement with government.
