Hearts protest over Kotoko clash 10/11/2005
Accra Hearts of Oak are demanding that they be declared winners of their 25th week GT Premier league game against Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The administrative manager of Hearts, Ashford Tettey-Oku, told Joy Sports the club had lodged a protest with the GFA’s disciplinary committee on the issue.

Hearts of Oak officials say Kotoko must be blamed for the delayed kick off to the 1-1 drawn game at the Ohene Djan stadium in Accra.

The game was delayed for well over an hour because of clash of the colours of their jerseys of both teams.

According to the phobians, Kotoko breached the governing rules of the game and that the referee should called off the match.
