Libya beat Ghana to win CHAN final 2/2/2014

Ghana were yet again denied a trophy success at the Africa Nations Championship after losing the final to Libya on penalties.
The lively final in Cape Town finished goalless after 120 minutes on Saturday as Ghana, who reached the finals courtesy a shoot-out win in the last-four were this time undone 4-3 by the Mediterranean Knights.
Ghana goalkeeper Stephen Adams saved two spot kicks from Mohamed Elgadi and Abdelsalam Omar after the first five kicks and tied it at 3-3.
It sent the kicks into sudden death with Ahmed El Trbi scoring the sixth penalty for Libya but Joshua Tijani was unable to find target from 12 yards.
Ghana, making their second final appearance thus miss out again after losing in the maiden edition of the tournament in 2009 to DR Congo.
