NDC man disagrees with CDD 6/23/2005
The Research Director of the National Democratic Congress, Kwamena Ahwoi has rejected arguments by the executive director of the Ghana Centre for Democratic Development on the African Peer Review report.

Prof. Gyimah Boadi of CDD-Ghana had argued in an interview with JOY NEWS that the report reflects the collective defects in Ghana’s governance structures and that it is not necessarily an assessment of President Kufuor’s record.

But Mr. Ahwoi disagrees.

“The whole context of this exercise is a peer review mechanism. It is an individual who is being reviewed by his peers. This is not country review unless my understanding peers is not so. I insist it is an individual peer review”, he said.
