‘Christozonto’ spirit-filled encounter at 2011 Stratcomm Africa Praise Jam 12/11/2011

It was an exciting night where not only the presence of God could be felt in a packed National Theatre, but the popular Azonto dance equally got its fair share on the Christian stage - christened Christozonto.

It is not clear whether the dance moves were from the impartation of the Holy Spirit, or as a result of modernity gone wild in the church, but what was unequivocally clear was that, Christozonto was just everywhere – it was the main course of dance menu for the night.

The 2011 Stratcomm Africa Praise Jam was just a spirit-filled encounter; an encounter fueled with several seasoned gospel acts. Notable among them are the Harmonious Chorale, Calvis Hammond & Joe Mettle, Becky Bonney, Danny Nettey, Cwesi Oteng, Stella Seal, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, and the Man on Sax, Rev Albert Asante
