Joy FM launches Old Skuuls Reunion 2011 8/28/2011

Organizers of the Joy FM Old Schools Reunion say this year''s event promises to put together a package that will appeal to both young and old.

The annual event brings together old students from all Ghanaian second cycle and Tertiary institutions together to reminisce the exciting days back at school.

Speaking at the press launch of this year’s event at a colorful ceremony at the forecourt of Joy FM, David Max-Fugar, the head of Sales and Marketing of Joy FM said this year''s edition will move from finding old school mates, singing known school songs and making new friends to witnessing some of the world''s great artists perform live on one stage.

The unique features of this year’s event include;

The repackaged sporting activities that will rekindle the rivalry among schools.

A VIP Area opened only to selected few and invited old students


Year Group ZONES and an improved security, parking and traffic management.

Richard Acheampong, the General Manager in charge of Marketing Communications at MTN assured that participants will witness a life changing experience from the number one telecommunications network and title sponsors of this year’s event.

In a build up to the event, various schools have been visiting the station''s studios in a bid to encourage their mates to attend the event.

Schools like Nungua Senior High, Kpedze Senior High, Koforidua Poly, and St. Augustines have already taken their turn.

Others like Accra Academy, St. Mary’s Senior High, Legon Presec, Adisadel College are all yet to take their turn.

The reunion will take place on September 17, 2011 at the Trade Fair Centre.
