Ghanaian football legends Daniel Addo, Osei Kuffuor make historic appearance on JOY Sports Link 8/21/2011
Ghanaian Football legends, Daniel Addo and Emmanuel Osei Kuffuor, made a historic appearance on Saturday’s edition of the JOY Sports Link on Joy 99.7 FM.

Daniel Addo, nicknamed the Darling Boy, is fondly remembered for inspiring the Black Starlets to win the 1991 FIFA under-17 World Championship in Italy.

The 34-year-old also won the Best Player award during the Japan 1993 under-17 World Cup when the Black Starlets finished as runners up. Addo, also helped the Black Satellites to win silver at the 1993 FIFA World Youth Championship in Australia.

Forward Emmanuel Osei Kuffuor, popularly known as the General, was a key figure of Hearts of Oak’s 64 Battalion side which dominated Africa to win the CAF Champions League in 2000. The 35-year-old also played for the next most glamorous club in Ghana, Asante Kotoko and picked up 31 caps featuring for the Black Stars.
