Women’s league protests meager remittance from FA 6/23/2005
The Ghana Women’s Soccer League Clubs Association has expressed disappointment at a paltry sum given to it by the Ghana Football Association to organize the league.

Joy Sports investigations have revealed that the GFA has voted ten thousand dollars from the FIFA football development fund for the running of the women’s league.

But organizers of the league say the amount is woefully inadequate for the numerous financial needs of the women’s game.

They claim they’ll need 142 million cedis for the running of the league.

This is the first time the women’s game will be partaking in the FIFA fund.
