Ghana ranked 7th most favourable investment destination in Africa 9/30/2005
A global survey conducted by the World Bank has rated Ghana as the seventh most favourable investment destination in Africa.

The survey used parameters such as the degree of difficulties in setting up, registering properties and acquiring business licenses to measure whether a country is conducive for business or not.

Ghana is ranked behind countries like, South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Kenya, Zambia and Mauritius.

Government spokesperson on the Economy, Nana Ohene Ntow, says Ghana’s ranking among the top ten investment destinations in Africa is a positive development.

Nana Ohene Ntow says government will study the survey and map out strategies to improve Ghana’s ranking in the future.
