Ghana women reach semis 7/24/2007
Ghana beat Senegal 3-0 in a women''s group B match on Sunday to reach the semi-finals of the competition.

The Black Princesses, Ghana''s under-19 who are playing representing the senior national team at the competition, will face South Africa in the semi-finals.

Shilla Owusu scored a goal in each half at the Stade Omar Hamadi Bologhine.

Diana Ankomah gave Ghana the lead in the 39th minute, and Owusu added hers in the 41st and 85th minutes to send her country through to the last four.

They face South Africa, who beat Ethiopia 3-1 on Sunday''s other Group B game.

In the other semi-final, Nigeria will face Algeria.
