Fenerbahce Sport Club) --It has long been reported that Schalke 04 wants to transfer the footballer Stephen Appiah. Here is the truth:
Andreas Müller from Schalke 04 called our club to discuss about transferring the Fenerbahce footballer Stephen Appiah. Our club replied that we only consider the written offerings for our footballers.

So Schalke 04 made their offer in a written form, offering to pay 4 Million Euro as transfer fee.

Fenerbahce informed Schalke 04 that our club is also interested in buying Kevin Kuranyi and Halil Altintop.
Andreas Müller replied that they are not planing to sell Kuranyi and demanded 27 Million Euro as his transfer fee.

Fenerbahce reported that Appiah is also as worthy as Kuranyi. In this sense our club did not make an offer for Kuranyi.
