Dindane to miss Nations Cup tie 5/30/2007
Aruna Dindane will not be fit to partner Didier Drogba in attack when the Ivory Coast play Madagascar in Sunday''s African Nations Cup Group One qualifier in Bouake.
An operation has kept the Racing Lens striker out of the squad but PSV Eindhoven''s Arouna Kone is back after injury.

It is likely that Drogba, playing his first game since scoring the extra-time winner in the FA Cup final at Wembley, will play alongside his Chelsea team mate Salomon Kalou.

Coach Uli Stielike has named a 20-man squad that is also without the injured Steve Gohouri and Kanga Akale.

Kolo Toure is suspended but Arsenal team-mate Emmanuel Eboue returns after missing the last two internationals in March.

The Ivorians will be on the verge of qualification if they beat Madagascar, having won both their previous Group One matches with eight goals scored and none conceded.

Sunday''s match is being played in Bouake as a symbolic gesture in support of the recent peace process, the Ivorian Football Federation said.

Bouake served as the capital of the rebel-held northern part of the divided west African country during its 2002-2003 civil war.

The Ivorian government and northern rebels signed a peace accord in March.

Squad:

Goalkeepers: Boubacar Barry (Beveren, Belgium), Tiasse Kone (Africa Sports), Stephane Loboue (Greuther Furth, Germany)

Defenders: Ndri Alli (ASEC Abidjan), Arthur Boka (VfB Stuttgart, Germany), Mamadou Doumbia (Istres, France), Emmanuel Eboue (Arsenal, England), Abdoulaye Meite (Bolton Wanderers, England)

Midfielders: Christian Koffi Ndri (Le Mans, France), Siaka Tiene (Stade Reims, France), Gneri Yaya Toure (Monaco, France), Didier Ya Konan (Rosenborg, Norway), Gilles Yapi Yapo (Young Boys Berne, Switzerland), Didier Zokora (Tottenham Hotspur, England)

Strikers: Amara Diane (Paris St Germain, France), Didier Drogba, Salomon Kalou (both Chelsea, England), Arouna Kone (PSV Eindhoven , Netherlands), Kandia Traore (Le Havre, France).
