Dentaa retires from music 5/29/2007
Having played major roles in the TV and radio sector (BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and currently OBE TV) in UK for a decade now, Dentaa is ready for her own quest – “The Dentaa Show”.

The Dentaa Show is a British evening time show hosted by ex gospel and backup singer, Dentaa and runs for thirty minutes with segments like ‘Interview segment’, ‘Entertainment segment’ and ‘Video Chart show segment’.

Having also starred in top soaps like Eastenders, Holby City, Judge John Deed, Prime Suspect and many more what more do you want me to say about her?

The show covers a set of topics but most importantly pointing to the Ghanaian and African entertainment scenes and people like Van Vicker (Actor), Adjoa Smart (Actress), Grace ‘Maame Dokono’ Omaboe (Actress, Host), David Dontoh (Actor), Jackie Appiah (Actress), Jojo Robinson (Actor), Nana Ama McBrown (Actress), Late Bro Philip (Music Artiste), Willie and Mike (Music Artiste), Kwaku Gyasi (Music Artiste), Paa George (Actor), George ‘Aboagye’ Quaye (Actor, host), Noble Nketia (Music Artiste), Lady Prempeh (Music Artiste), 5Five (Music Artiste), Nana King (Music Artiste), Eddie Kay (presenter), Ohemaa Mercy (Music Artiste), William Addo (Actor), Agya Koo and many more have graced the show.

The first season of the Dentaa Show has been well received by lovers of Dentaa which makes Dentaa add that “It’s important to make people feel good, to show compassion, to be uplifting and to help people expand their horizons”.

“We should encourage people, discover new talent and give people a chance to realize their full potential. Finally, provide people with an escape and help them find joy”, she continues.

Since it’s broadcasted on OBE TV, it will be aired in many countries. It is filmed in front of a live audience at the xpedientmedia studios.

Let me take you way back to 2005/2006, a pretty young lady dazzled the Ghanaian music industry with the Jay Q produced title song, ‘Wu Ye Nyame’ under Alordia Promotions UK.

Her album did quite well making gospel music lovers yearn for more but has now come out to say she has retired from music and that “the album was a thanksgiving testimony to thank the Lord for saving her from a dead end situation”.

Let’s strap on our seat belts as Dentaa takes us into the world of her own.
