Kofi Wayo On ROPAL 5/25/2007
The founder of the yet-to-be registered and outdoored United Renaissance Party, (URP) Mr. Charles Kofi Wayo, a.k.a. Chuck, has said that the implementation of the Representation Of Peoples Amendment Law, ROPAL, should not be the priority of the government. What Ghanaians need are food, shelter and energy.

He said, “The law ROPAL is not emergency and that is what Ghanaians should know. It''s not the ordinary people''s priority. They want to get light and you want those in the Diaspora to vote?”. Mr. Wayo was speaking in his usual slang during a telephone interview with the Ghanaian Voice newspaper yesterday in Accra.

The former NPP guru contented that blacks all over the world have lost respect in the western world because, “We always have our cups in hand begging”. According to Chuck, the United Renaissance Party which he is the founder would be the only party that would make the black man know his priority. He intimated that the NPP has failed the ordinary Ghanaian with their inability to feed them properly.

How can a nation without money think of sending ballot boxes abroad for voting? Mr. Wayo who said he was in a clinic for medical check up during the interview stated that come 2008, the United Renaissance Party is sure of wining the elections.
