Taylor in line for another CL medal 9/26/2005
Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko star Charles Taylor could win another CAF Champions league medal with Tunisian side Etoile Du Sahel five years after winning the competition with Accra Hearts of Oak.

Taylor’s Etoile notched a crucial away win in their first leg semi final clash to Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca.

Taylor’s West African colleague, Emeka Opara of Nigeria scored the vital away goal for the Tunisian side.

Etoile host the second leg in Sousse in three weeks with their hopes resting on their slender but precious lone goal advantage.

In the expected all north African final, Egypt''s Ahly took a vital step towards the Champions League final when they defeated local rivals Zamalek 2-1 in the first leg of their semi-final in Cairo on Sunday.
