AMSTERDAM - The Amsterdam-bound A4 motorway is closed near Roelofarendsveen after an accident involving three tractor trailers, a spokesperson for the national police corps has reported.

The spokesperson said that the drivers did not suffer any serious injuries, besides some neck pain. He could say nothing about the cause of the accident or how long the motorway would be closed.

Traffic from the direction of The Hague is being advised to use the A44.
