Korle-Gonno Music Fans Call For More…As Mzbel, Castro, VIP & Others Storm There 9/25/2005
Music fans in and around Korle-Gonno, a suburb of Accra who had the opportunity to be present at the Korle-Gonno Beach Resort jam last Sunday, could not help but ask for more when the event succeeded in giving them the kind of entertainment they craved.

Most of the fans who could not hide their feelings, pleaded with the Tema-based private radio station Adom FM, organisers of the event, to organise a beach jam every year after the Homowo festival.

The event was to round off the annual Homowo festival of the people of Korle-Gonno and it brought together the crème de la crème in the hiplife industry, with almost all the nation’s top DJs present to give support to the show.

Some of the artistes who mounted the platform to treat the fans to wonderful musical and entertaining event included Praye, Abrewanana, Sidney, Nkasei and 4x4 among others. Other were VIP, Mzbel and Castro.

Most of the fans were practically drenched in sweat as the musicians took turns to perform tracks from their repertoire, sending the crowd reeling In pleasure.

It was all fun and exhilaration right from the start to the end of the show, though some of the stars billed to perform turned up later than expected. DJs from the station including Abeiku Santana, Adakabre Frimpong Manso, Dr. Duncan, Akumaa Mama Zimbi and Eddie Kay among others.
