Faisal welcome Fello Stars 9/23/2005
The weekends GT premier league has been called off as the premier league clubs lend solidarity to Ghana’s sole continental participant, King Faisal.

According to the professional league board, the league will bounce back next week Wednesday.

Faisal would be making up for lost ground in the CAF Confederation cup competition this weekend when they play Guinean side, Fello Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Faisal beat the Guinean’s one-nil in Conakry during the first leg but have missed out of the chance to make it to the grand finale after losing their last two games.

Tunisia’s FAR Rabat beat Faisal 2-1 in Rabat a fortnight ago to dash Faisal’s hopes for a first continental title. In the other game, leaders FAR Rabat play second placed AS Marsa.
