... "Investigate me for corruption"
Former President, Jerry Rawlings says he never engaged in any corrupt practices during his 18-year rule of Ghana.
In an interview with BBC television, Flt Lt Rawlings said the prosecution of some of his government officials for corruption was politically motivated.

He said he never took money dishonestly from anyone whiles in power.

“ I have thrown a challenge to the CIA, to your British intelligence, to the German intelligence and who ever wants, in any part of the world can go and investigate Rawlings as to whether he took any money dishonestly from anyone.

They know that I have not; they know that I have not. In effect they know I am morally strong enough to be able to stand up to the corrupt order that we fought,” he said.
