Nigeria''''s Aghahowa set for Wigan 1/29/2007
Shakhtar Donetsk have agreed to sell Nigerian striker Julius Aghahowa to English Premier League strugglers Wigan Athletic for an undisclosed fee.
"He wants to play in England and we decided to grant him his wish," Shakhtar coach Mircea Lucescu has said.

Aghahowa''''s move is subject to the 24-year-old international being granted a work permit in England.

"Aghahowa has been with us for seven years and it''''s now time for him to move elsewhere," Lucescu added.

Aghahowa was bought by the Donetsk side from Tunisia''''s Esperance for nearly US$4m in 2000.
