Rwanda''s APR won the Cecafa Club Cup after beating Uganda Revenue Authority 2-1 in Kigali on Saturday.
APR made a blistering start to the game from which URA never recovered.
Only five minutes into the final of the regional East and Central African club tournament, Abbas Russau fired the local side ahead.
After 11 minutes, the match was effectively over as Twite Mbuyu, a scorer in the semi-finals, doubled APR''s lead.
URA could only reply deep into stoppage time at the end of the game through David Kiwanuka.
Watched by Rwandan President Paul Kagame, who sponsors the event, APR are now US$30,000 richer after winning the trophy.
URA receive 20,000 for coming second while St George of Ethiopia picked up 10,000 for finishing third when beating another Rwandan side Atraco 2-1.
