Congo''s youth off to dream start 1/20/2007
Congo kicked off their hosting of the African Youth Championship in perfect fashion on Saturday as they beat Ivory Coast 2-0 in Brazzaville.

Coach Eddy Hudanski saw his under-20 side go top of Group A thanks to two goals from Fabrice Nguessi Ondama.

In front of a packed crowd at the 25,000-capacity Massamba-Débat stadium, Ivory Coast struggled to dent the Congolese defence.

The action continues on Saturday, as Burkina Faso face Gambia in the second Group A match.

On Sunday, Group B gets underway as holders Nigeria play Zambia while both Cameroon and Egypt go in search of their first points later in the day.
