Kingston eyes Scottish hearts 1/18/2007
Laryea Kingston
Scotland -18 January 2007 - Hearts want to look at Ghanaian Laryea
Kingston from Lokomotiv Moscow as they search for full-back cover.

"There are still a few things to work out before Laryea can join us," head
coach Valdas Ivanauskas told BBC Sport.

"We should know more by the end of the week but he''s not on trial," added
the manager who has lost Nerijus Barasa and Jose Goncalves to recent
injuries.

And fellow defender Robbie Neilson is recovering from surgery on his knee
cartilage and may miss up to a month.

"Robbie could be out for around four or five weeks," Ivanauskas added.

"Hopefully he''ll be able to start running after three weeks, so maybe
sooner."

Kingston, 26, is a Ghanaian international and can also operate in
midfield, while another recent trialist, Mindaugas Baguzis, is back in
Lithuania with FBK Kaunas.

However, the defender could return to Edinburgh to sign a loan deal before
the transfer window closes. GRi…/
