Power FC shock Hearts at Tema 1/14/2007
Tema, Jan. 13, GNA - Bottom club, Power F/C put up a second half splendid performance to beat League leaders, Accra Hearts of Oak 2-1 in their GT Onetouch Premier League encounter at the Tema Sports Stadium on Saturday.

Moses Andoh opened the scores for Hearts in the 30th minute when his terrific shot beat gaol keeper Alfred Mills of Power.

Hearts Bernard Don Bortey nearly made it two for Hearts in the 39th minute but his shot went off target to the relieve of the visitors. Hearts probed for more the goals and kept the goal area of Power boiling but failed to increase their tally till the end of the first half.

Power resumed the second session with greater determination and snatched the equalizer in the 55th minute through Daniel Addo. As the game was getting tougher and tougher, it was the Power lads who however had the last laugh when Francis Cofie who combined effectively with Daniel Adddo, made it 2-1 for his side in the 75th minute.

Elivis Opoku of Power was voted the best player of the match.
