Eto''''o to train again on Monday 1/11/2007
Barcelona''''s Cameroonian forward Samuel Eto''''o will have to wait a little longer before making his long-awaited return for the Spanish champions.

Last week, the 25-year-old pinpointed this weekend''''s game at Espanyol as the chance to ''''put on the Barca jersey again''''.

Yet Barca club doctor Ramon Cugat has stressed that Eto''''o, who suffered a serious knee injury in September, will only start training on Monday 15 January.

"We have to hold him back a little because he''''s keen to get back to scoring goals, but we decided that from Monday he can train with the rest of the group," said Cugat.

Eto''''o injured his right knee in September and after surgery, early reports suggested he would not return to football until February.

Barcelona, the reigning European champions, currently trail La Liga leaders Seville by two points but have a game in hand.
