Don’t Underestimate The Minority Parties - MP 1/10/2007
Wednesday, 10 January 2007
The NDC MP for Tamale South and Minority Ranking Member of the Parliamentary Committee on Communications, Hon Haruna Iddrisu has observed that even though the 2008 Elections will mainly be between the NPP and the NDC, the impact of other Minority Parties cannot be underestimated.

According to Hon. Iddrisu, since there could be the need for alliances, during the elections, the significance of the Minority Parties should be appreciated.

Speaking to Peace FM in an interview in Accra, Hon Haruna Iddrisu hoped that issues which will transform Ghana into a prosperous nation, will be the focus of campaign messages towards the elections.

These include access to quality medical care and education, growing level of corruption and poverty and provision of infrastructural facilities.By: Emmanuel Akorli
