Douala looks to end Pompey loan 1/8/2007
Cameroon winger Rodolph Douala says he wants an early end to his season-long loan with Portsmouth.
Douala, 28, signed on loan from Sporting Lisbon in August 2006 but has been hampered by a hamstring problem and has only featured in four games.

He told Portuguese newspaper A Bola: "I want to leave and want that to happen in January.

"I have nothing against the club or the people there, but everybody knows I did not want to go to England."

Douala''s contract with Sporting runs until the end of the 2007-08 season.

"I don''t think I will go back to Sporting, but I am not even sure of that right now," he added. "A lot can happen."
