St. George will play Atraco in Group B on Sunday

Young Africans of Tanzania beat Djibouti''s CDE 4-0 in the opening match of this year''s Cecafa Club Championship in Rwanda.

A second-half brace by Kenya international Bernard Mwalala secured the victory for Yanga in the Group A game on Saturday.

But it was forward Gaudence Mwaikimba, who set the Tanzanians on their way to victory, with a strike in the 20th minute.

Said Maulid doubled the lead 18 minutes after the break before the goals by Mwalala.

Young Africans will face Uganda champions Revenue Authority on Monday.

The competition continues on Sunday with home side Atraco playing Ethiopia champions St. George in Group B.
