Appiah going nowhere 1/6/2007
In a written statement published on the club''s official web site, Fenerbahçe denied recent stories linking its midfielder Stephan Appiah with Premier League clubs.
The statement read: “Our club is competing for the title in the Turkcell Super League, the UEFA Cup and the Fortis Turkish Cup in its 100th anniversary and all our players acknowledge the importance of the situation. Stephan Appiah has an ongoing contract that expires in 2009 and he has no intention of moving away.”
