Workers of Jescan Construction Limited, contractors on the project, have been very busy on the job, which according to the assistant supervisor of the Company, William Living-waters, is about 95 per cent complete.

He told the Times yesterday that the project, which started last September, would be completed early enough for the celebration.
He mentioned the sealing of all cracks in the dais, painting and refurbishment of eight public stands and replacement of their roofs with new ones, as some of the work so far done on the project.

In addition, he said, four existing toilets have been refurbished, and two new ones provided.
