Udinese Ready To Sell 1/4/2007
Boro, Pompey given Muntari green light
Udinese chairman Giampaolo Pozzo says he is prepared to sell Ghanaian international midfielder Sulley Muntari this month, alerting Portsmouth and Middlesbrough.

Both clubs inquired about the player''s availability after he excelled at the World Cup, but they were put off by an extraordinary price tag of £11million

However, Muntari has since had a series of disagreements with the Udinese hierarchy, and Pozzo told the Gazzetta dello Sport he would be willing to do business:

"Muntari has been the protagonist of a negative year, especially from a disciplinary point of view.

"I don''t understand why he behaves in this way.

"On Wednesday he didn''t arrive to the training session and in this way he has a long list of fines.

"I can''t rule out his transfer, but if he does leave he will be replaced in an adequate way."
