AMSTERDAM — About 325,000 people exchanged their old Dutch guilders for the euro in the past three months.
The exchanged guilders amounted to EUR 14.6 million, the Finance Ministry said on Tuesday.
The ministry has estimated that EUR 500 million were still in circulation before the launch of its campaign ''''Make euros from your guilders''''.
Saturday 30 December was the last day that guilder coins could be exchanged for euros.
