Stars Storm Gyandu Sat 12/29/2006
The cream of Ghana’s past and present football stars will converge at the Gyandu Park in Sekondi tomorrow for the Tony Baffoe XI versus Tony Yeboah XI charity match.

The game, expected to rekindle memories of old when the top stars paraded for the Black Stars or other national sides, could be the last time many of these players would play any match before their adoring fans.

Football icon Abedi Pele, one-time world-aclaimed heir apparent to Pele, Nii Odartey Lamptey, striking prodigy Tony Yeboah, gigantic defender Tony Baffoe, Prince Polley, Kwame Ayew, Yaw Preko, Augustine Ahinful, among others, are expected to lace their boots for the one-day show
