Portsmouth closer to Muntari deal 12/27/2006
Portsmouth are a step closer to landing Udinese midfielder Sulley Muntari. The Ghana international is a confirmed target for Pompey boss Harry Redknapp and Udinese are now planning to sign a replacement.

Esbjerg midfielder Niki Zimling is being lined up by the Italian club to succeed Muntari, who will be allowed to move to the Premiership in January.
