Armando & Agyemang Called Up

.. Replacement For Essien & Muntari
Strikers Baba Armando (picture) and Louis Agyemang have been called up to join the black stars training camp in Tunisia.

Armando plys his trade for Russian side Krylia Sovetov. Agyemang plays for South African side Kaizer Chiefs.

The call up of the players, who were on the coach Ratomir Dujkovic''s stand by list, has been necessitated by injuries to key midfielders Michael Essien and Sulley Muntari.

Even though the GFA is hopeful the injured pair might recover in time to feature in the African Nations Cup, Baba Armando and Louis Agyemang have been called as safeguards.

The former Hearts striker, Agyemang and Armando are expected to leave the country tonight for Tunisia.

Defender Samuel Osei Kufuor also joins the team tonight.

Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah flew out to join the rest of his teammates in Tunis last night.
