President''s Christmas Message

PRESIDENT J. A. Kufuor has entreated road users to be disciplined and extra careful during the Christmas celebrations.

This was contained in a special message to the nation to mark the season.

The full text of the message follows: "By the Grace of God, and through our collective effort, the year has ended successfully, and the nation has entered the Christmas and New Year season in peace and tranquility.

I wish the nation and our friends around the world, A Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.

To make the entire festive period accident-free and a happy one for all, I entreat road-users, both drivers and pedestrians, to be disciplined and extra careful. By all means, let us enjoy ourselves, but within reason.

And let us welcome the New Year with hope and a renewed commitment to the service of our dear nation Ghana."
