Graphic presents prizes to raffle winners
Accra, Dec. 1, GNA - Mrs Phillys Dey, a 32-year-old Accounts Clerk at Accra High School, on Thursday took home a Nissan saloon car as winner of the Daily Graphic Loyalty Promotion Raffle. Mrs Dey was filled with tears of joy and could not give her remarks or talk to the press after receiving the award.

The raffle sponsored by Nulec, Auto Sale, Caitec Motors, Unique Trust Financial Services and CDH Insurance Company Limited was to reward loyal readers of the "Daily Graphic".

Mr Berifi Apenteng, Managing Director of the Graphic Communication Group Limited (GCGL), said it was the corporate philosophy of the Company to share wealth with those who helped to create it in order to survive as a business entity.

He said GCGL had, therefore, provided free medical care to residents of Adabraka, where the company was located and had set up the Graphic Needy Fund to help provide critical medical treatment to the needy.

Mr Apenteng expressed appreciation to all readers of their newspapers and urged them to contribute their views through letters to the Editor or the Public Affairs Office to help to redefine the Company''s products to meet expectation. Mr Peter Hammond, an accountant of A-Life, received a 34-inch television set as the winner of the second prize while Mr Sampson M. Bijinam, a student of Accra Polytechnic, took home an Air-Conditioner as the third prize. Nine other consolation prizes were given out.Source:
