Akwetey endorses Hearts Congress 11/25/2005
Former Accra Hearts of Oak board secretary Bright Akwetey has dismissed speculation that he intends to seek a court injunction to restrain the club from organizing its national delegates congress this weekend.

Mr Akwetey told Joy Sports he has decided against disrupting the congress following discussions with the leadership of the national supporters group of the club.

The weekend’s congress will be the club’s first in over a decade.

And the current leadership blames Mr Akwetey for stalling previous attempts to convene the congress with persistent legal tussles.

But the former board secretary says he had only sought to demand some professionalism and integrity from the administration.

Bright Akwetey is expectant that the congress would mark the beginning of the process of the administrative change that he had been pursuing.
