Drug MP''s accomplice is NOT ex-CEPS Boss
The former Commissioner of the Customs, Excise and Preventive Service – Nii Okai Adjei has sought to correct a misconception that he is the alleged accomplice who was arrested with the Nkoranza North MP.

The associate of the busted MP bears the same name as the former Commissioner of the Customs, Excise and Preventive Service.

This has created a lot of anxiety for the former CEPS boss who coincidentally is also now staying in the US.

Mr. Okine-Adjei called JOY FM to clear his name, saying that he has never been involved in drug trafficking.

“ This is the first time I have seen my name elsewhere like that but it certainly couldn’t be me. I cannot hold brief for others why they should continue to insist that I am this Nii Okai Adjei when all the evidence suggests that I am not.

I come from Teshie and this name only pertains in a particular quarters but quite a few of the Teshie guys I’ve spoken with here never know or have heard of this guy and my humble submission is if our government wishes to seriously get to the bottom of the case, they must first investigate who this Nii Okai Adjei is and how he happened to come by this name,” he said.
