Dormaa District Assembly supports football club
Dormaa Ahenkro, (B/A) Nov 7, GNA - The Dormaa District Assembly in the Brong Ahafo Region has presented 15 million cedis to Aduana Stars Football club based in Dorma-Ahenkro to support the club in its participation in the sub- Middle League.

Squadron Leader Asamoah Anane (rtd), District Chief Executive who made the presentation pledged the Assembly''s continued support for the club to enable it chalk successes and develop to rub shoulders with clubs like Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak. Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu 11, Omanhene of Dormaa Traditional Area, a Patron of the Club who received the donation said the club would need about 200 million cedis to enable it to meet the challenges of their elevation and promotion.

He urged the feuding factions in the area to consider using football as an avenue for conflict resolution since sports has the natural tendency of bringing people of diverse opinions together to plan their development.
